Weathersfield Schools Mission Statement |
REACH!! Cultivate Learning Today--Create a Better World Tomorrow
Weathersfield strives to make available to all students a sound basic education in the traditional scholastic disciplines. Opportunities for enrichment are offered through academics, athletics, and in the arts. We are dedicated to providing for our children a safe, well-maintained place in which to learn, a sensitive and academically superior faculty, and a motivational framework to encourage them to their highest level of achievement. In order for our schools to both reflect and lead our community, we seek to promote a healthy discourse among parents, community members, students and staff. It is our intent to encourage and reinforce the ideals of personal and social responsibility, and to nurture in our students a respect for themselves and an understanding of others. |

We'd like to wish a happy retirement to Kay Faust, librarian, and Marilyn Yushak, grade one teacher. Thank you for many wonderful years in our district! Also leaving are Meg Dubanevich, who worked many years in the lower grades, and Sue Tillson, assistant cook at the Middle School. We will miss you both.
I will also be leaving. I have enjoyed very much my two years here as the computer person, which included doing many of the updates on this Weathersfield Web Site. Thank you, I will miss you all. Sharon Crosier |
