Should there be a need for either a delayed opening or school closing due to inclement weather, the following procedures will take place:

Bus Coordinator confers with Town Highway Foreman. Bus Coordinator calls Superintendent/Principal with Town Foreman's recommendation and Superintendent/Principal makes decision to call off or delay school based on that information.

Please check the following TV and Radio stations after 6:00 A.M. for closing information.

If school needs to call an early release due to extremely poor weather conditions, parents will be contacted as instructed on their child's student information sheet.The radio stations listed above will be contacted to broadcast the early release.

In the event we have a 2 hour delay, school would start at 9:50 and the buses will run their normal routes just 2 hours later than usual.*** Please keep in mind, that if there is a 2 hour delay there is always the possibility of school being closed for the day.

If Weathersfield School cancels, the Weathersfield High School connections from Springfield and Windsor High School will not be running and students need to make other transportation arrangements.
