I would like to thank all the players and parents for a great soccer season.  A special THANK YOU to all the coaches, assistants and occasional helpers, that volunteered their free time planning drills and teaching skills to your children.  They did a great job!

 

Also, another special thank you to those that helped out with the banquet (set up/food/cleanup) too.  I do greatly appreciate all that everyone does to help make this soccer program a success for our children.

Soccer Game Directions 2009

NECA Team (used to be called St. Mary's)

River Valley Community College (was Claremont Technical College) - Rte. 120

  • Cross bridge into NH
  • Drive straight, passing through one set of traffic lights.
  • Approximately 2.3 miles from the set of lights, turn left onto North Street.
  • Drive straight through the first set of lights.
  • At the second set of lights, turn left onto Route 120.
  • Drive approximately 2.5 miles. RVCC is located on the Right.

Claremont Youth Soccer - CYS

Monadnock Park - Broad Street

  • Monadnock Park is located off Broad Street. Entrances are located both on Broad Street and Chestnut Street.
  • Cross bridge into NH
  • Drive straight, passing through three set of traffic lights.
  • Go around traffic circle. Turn Right onto Rte 11 (Broad Street)
  • Continue on Broad Street for .3 miles.
  • Monadnock Park is on Left.

Claremont Youth Soccer - CYS

Veterans Park, Claremont, NH
Cross bridge into NH. Pass through one set of lights. Turn LEFT onto NORTH ST. Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON ST. At next set of lights, just after Sunoco gas station, take the LEFT onto WINTER ST and bare RIGHT onto GREEN MOUNTAIN RD (2nd road on right). Fields are on RIGHT slightly after turn.

 

Cavendish School

Plays games in Ludlow, VT - Fletcher Field

  • Rte 131 W to 103 N
  • Fletcher Field is about ¾ to 1 mile on LEFT.

Springfield Recreation

Games played at Riverside Middle School

  • From Ascutney, turn LEFT onto WEATHERSFIELD CENTER RD. WEATHERSFIELD CENTER RD becomes BROOK RD. BROOK RD becomes VALLEY ST. Turn RIGHT onto MAIN ST/ VT-106/ VT-11. Continue to follow VT-106/ VT-11. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto VT-11 W/ CHESTER RD. Turn RIGHT onto FAIRGROUND RD/ FAIRGROUNDS RD. End at 13 Fairground Rd.

Albert Bridge School - Brownsville, VT (behind school)

  • From Perkinsville – Route 106 N, bear right on Route 44 (Brownsville Rd), in center of town take left onto Brownsville-Hartland Road, School is about 100 yards on Right.
  • From Ascutney – Route 5 N, bare left onto 44A (Back Mountain Rd), continue on 44 A ( Brownsville Rd), in center of town take left onto Brownsville-Hartland Road, School is about 100 yards on Right.

Ludlow Jamboree – Dorsey Park, Ludlow Vermont

  • Rte 131 W to 103 N
  • Follow into town of Ludlow
  • At Bensons Chevrolet car dealership, turn LEFT onto POND STREET.
  • Go under large Train Trestle Bridge.

 

 

Remember…Coaches are volunteers. We are here to learn basic skills. Games are for fun! No official scores, stats or standings will be kept. Good Sportsmanship is NEEDED from parents, coaches and athletes.

Grades 5-8 Directions to away game facilities--

N0. SPRINGFIELD - GRADES 3-6 - soccer; turn right after IGA, School is first right, Field is behind school.

SPRINGFIELD - GRADES 7-8 - SOCCER & BASKETBALL. Riverside Middle School - behind McDonalds, across bridge.

SPRINGFIELD - GRADES 3-6 - Baseball, softbal1 @ Riverside Middle School...BASKETBALL: Reg. Center, Main St. Springfield, across from post office.

ST. MARY'S SCHOOL -GRADES 1-8 - go across Ascutney Bridge into NH after crossing the river go straight through lights. Stay straight until Eserskey's Hardware. Turn right at Eserskey's. Take 1st street on left. Gym is on left down this street.

VILLAS - GRADES 6-8 - Route 5 south to Springfield go across toll bridge route 12 south to route 12A to Alstead. Soccer field behind Vilas Middle School. Softball field is on left as you enter village at bottom of hill.

WALPOLE SCHOOL - GRADES 3-8 - 1-91 south to Bellows Falls exit. South on Route 5 to Bellows Falls. Turn left across first bridge after fire station. Route 12 south approx. 2-3 miles, take 2nd left after plaza, school is 3/4 mile on right. Go in 2nd driveway, enter school through rear door.
