Study Island is a great learning tool for your child to get them excited about learning.  It engages them through fun games that explore a variety of literary elements, as well as diverse math skills which help them to prepare for standardized testing.  You can log on to Study Island on any computer with an Internet connection and standared web-browser. 

Follow the instructions below to use the program:

1.  Click on the following to go to the Study Island Website:  www.studyisland.com

2.  Enter your username (first name, last name @ws (no comma, space, and it is not case sensitive) ex. johnsmith@ws) and password (handed out in class) at the upper-left side of the screen.  Click "Login".

3.  Click on the section tab of math or reading.  Your child should remember from class what to click next.

4.  Please send a note in with your child to Computer Class after your child has spent 5 hours at home using Study Island.
