Thanks to a Hicks-Nichols Grant, we are pleased to announce that the school library now offers an Audio Book Program through ListenUp! Vermont. This program extends the library’s collection and offers an additional way to enjoy a book.
To see the books offered, click on www.listenupvermont.org
· All students with home internet access can use the audio book program from home.
They can either play the audio book on their computer, or use their own MP3 or iPOD players.
Students can get the instructions and their account number from the librarian.
· 5-8th grade students may borrow MP3 players with their choice of narrated audio book.
The MP3 players are considered library material and are covered in the School Handbook under the library policy (see “Overdue or Lost Materials”). If you would like your student to be able to borrow a MP3 player with an audio book, turn in a signed permission form to the librarian.
